EXPLORING CAREER OPTIONS
It is totally OK to start college without knowing for sure what your major will be or what career you want, but it is helpful to have some ideas about what you might like. All of the resources and ideas below are meant to help you learn more about yourself and your options.
Take advantage of extracurriculars
Clubs, activities and hobbies are a really good way to get a sense of your passions and interests. It's a chance to delve deeper into topics and see how it feels. Internships are also an incredible way to both further explore a passion and to get an inside look at what working in that field looks and feels like.
Take time for self-reflection
This is an exciting time because you have opportunities to try out a lot of different things! Take a little while to pause and think about what kinds of things have left you feeling energized as well as what kinds of things you were less pleased with.
